Hi Nick
Found a mushroom in a plant pot and thought I'd set about identifying it which led to wildaboutbritain site and then to you. This is absolutely brilliant - stylish site with gorgeous photography and diaries are entertaining too. A glorious package of education, entertainment and information which makes me want to leap out into the woods and see things .
Congratulations and thank the Lord for my plant pot bringing me here.
Happy Christmas!

Have watched your WAB posts on and off since last Autumn when, three times your age with a life long passion for the natural world, I bought my first DSLR and BIgma lens.
Absolutely love your shots of fungi. Have just bought a macro lens. Thanks for the heads up on the Velbon mini.
Good luck, Nick.Be a wildlife photographer:I think your fears are unfounded.

Rosemary
